C.H. Veterinary Clinic is a daytime practice and does not provide overnight or 24-hour emergency care. If your pet has a life-threatening emergency outside our open hours, go directly to:

When to Call Us the Same Day

Signs That Need A Same-day Call

  • Vomiting or diarrhea that keeps repeating
  • Not eating or drinking for 24 hours or more
  • Limping or trouble putting weight on a leg
  • Eye injuries or sudden redness and squinting
  • Wounds, bites, or cuts
  • Swelling of the face or muzzle, or signs of an allergic reaction
  • Coughing that will not settle
  • Straining to urinate. In male cats this is a true emergency, go to Veterinary Emergency Services immediately if we are closed
  • Labored breathing. If severe or after hours, go straight to the emergency hospital

Yes. C.H. Veterinary Clinic is open Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 2588 N Temperance Ave in Fresno. It is a short window, so call (559) 292-7393 ahead of time to make sure we can fit your animal in.

We close from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM Monday through Friday. That midday block is when surgeries and treatments get handled. We reopen at 1:30 PM and see appointments until 4:00 PM.
